While we don’t claim we’re the be-all-end-all of codemonkeys, we do have some chops when it comes to site design and implementing a wide variety of sites, themes, and business specific sections, from blogs to portfolios, product pages, landing pages, mobile sites, and more. Our real strength is in making WordPress into a real CMS (content Management System) and doing it in such a way that we can hand off the updating and basic changes directly to our clients. This makes our customers more self-sufficient if they so choose, which saves them money. It also lets us move on to other projects, without having to nickel and dime the client to death because constant changes and additions are requested. When it comes to major changes, we don’t expect most clients to understand all the details, but we like to empower them to do what they are able to, and do it efficiently.

Quora is a great catch-all for many different types of tech, includin, but far from limited to WordPress. It’s free to join and allows you to follow topics and sites like you follow people and businesses on Twitter, but it’s decidedly tech heavy.  Sign up for an account and start folowing what interests you and/or what you need help with, and you may just find the answer on your own. In case you missed it on the site, start here….

If that isn’t working for you though, or you just like the personal touch that only one on one (English speaking) support can provide, we;ll be happy to help guide you down the right paths, and avoid the pitfalls that we have probably already fallen prey to.

There are people who are willing to help you out on Twitter. I certainly wouldn’t recommend tweeting developers and demanding their help, but there are some helpful people out there. At the wpmuorg twitter account, for example, Sarah frequently answers support requests from people in the community:

Stack Overflow is a programming experts Q&A site. It’s collaboratively built and run, with members able to contribute to the overall project by asking questions, answering questions and becoming moderators. There are nearly 7,000 questions tagged “WordPress.” Whereas you’ll find Quora useful for lots of general questions about WordPress, Stack Overflow is the place to be if you have more technical questions. It’s a community of developers so you should be able to find help for your programming needs.
